GCM opens new £2.3 million purpose-built Centre for homeless and vulnerable adults

An amazing story of God’s provision

In 2009 GCM moved into a new £2.3million, purpose-built Centre which is five storey’s tall and at the very heart of the city. We were given this building completely free of charge to serve as our new City Centre Project and Headquarters.

Before this we had worked from a number of locations across the city and since the mid 1990s our City Centre Project had worked from a small single-storey wooden structure on McAlpine Street.

For a number of years we had been hoping and praying to move to a new building with more space so we could increase the number of day activities for our service users.

This new Centre provides motivational education opportunities and activities that engage and inspire, while expanding the provision of practical and spiritual support.
