We are starting to get very excited about our supporters taking part in the Virtual Kiltwalk to raise funds to help us with our work with those affected by homelessness and poverty in Glasgow.
Our team of Wednesday night volunteers are getting involved with Billy Mitchell doing a personal challenge reflecting this year of 2021 – he plans his own TRY-ATH-ALONG! Friday 23 April – walking 21 miles (7 times around Linlithgow Loch) , Saturday 24 April – cycle 21 miles around Linlithgow and Sunday swim 21 lengths of Linlithgow pool (if open) and there you go!
We are also delighted that the “Science Crazy” team from the Advance Research Centre (ARC) at the University of Glasgow will be doing the Glasgow city 15 bridge challenge, walking all 15 bridges in Glasgow covering 12.5 km.
How about getting involved yourself? If you are interested in supporting our work in this way please go to our events page for more information and the link to register – https://www.glasgowcitymission.com/event/kiltwalk-2021/.
