Glasgow City Mission works in partnership with a registered charity called Acts 435 which connects people who are in urgent financial need with people who want to give, through their giving website.
Since the beginning of 2022, we have enjoyed a highly fruitful partnership with Acts 435. As a partner with Acts 435 we are permitted to upload requests for personal funding on behalf of our guests.
Applications might include £120 for a bed, £150 for a child’s uniform and clothes, or £200 for a new cooker. Each request meets an immediate practical need, specific to one of our guests; often following their move into a new tenancy.
Acts 435 provides a platform for Christians across the UK to donate directly to our guests. Donors can give with the confidence that 100% of their donation goes to the individual in need. Acts 435 provides an incredibly valuable resource for our guests, and we are thrilled to call them our partner.
