First Friday Tours

First Friday tours - come and see what happens at Glasgow City Mission

First Friday Tours – come and see what happens at Glasgow City Mission’s city centre project.

Enjoy a guided tour of our facilities where practical Christian care is provided to those struggling with homelessness, poverty and social isolation. See our IT café, gym, art and music studios, roof garden and kitchens. Finish with a cup of tea and chance to ask any questions.

It’s our hope that you come away feeling inspired and encouraged, more knowledgeable about the work of our city centre project and why it’s so vital.

Here’s what previous tour participants have said:

“Wow, this is amazing. I had no idea you did so much.”

“Thank you for such an informative tour. I’ve been a supporter of Glasgow City Mission for some time but I hadn’t fully appreciated all that goes on. It’s been great to see it with my own eyes”.

Book your free place now as places are strictly limited:

Tours will last approximately 50 minutes and followed by tea and coffee and question time.

We’ll be releasing more First Friday dates as the year progresses. If you’d like to visit and our First Friday dates don’t suit or you have a large group, please contact us – it will be our pleasure to accommodate you.

Our City Centre project is based on the corner of Crimea and Brown Streets opposite the MOD. Brown Street runs up from the Broomielaw to Argyle Street. There is plenty of on-street parking right outside our front door. Cheaper, all-day parking is available at the end of Crimea St. We are a five minute walk from Glasgow Central and Anderston Stations.
