We featured Paula in our Connect magazine three years ago. At that point she had recently moved into a new flat on leaving prison following a ten-year cycle of addiction, prison and homelessness. Three years on and Paula is in a permanent flat, has stopped drinking, has a seven-month-old son with her partner and is planning to go to college.

Top marks for the Child and Family Centre
We scored top marks once again for our Child and Family Centre from our latest Care Inspectorate report. We scored 5 out of 5 on ‘Quality of care and support’ and for ‘Quality of staffing’.

Glasgow Winter Night Shelter - update 19 November
As a result of the recent cold weather we are monitoring the temperatures in case there’s a requirement for an emergency shelter in the run up to the night shelter’s official opening on 1 December. If this is necessary we will call upon previously trained staff and volunteers to staff these nights. It is essential that any night shelter, emergency or planned, is a safe place for our guests.
