Home is..? Tackling rough sleeping in the latest Connect magazine

Connect: Tackling rough sleeping in Glasgow “There’s so many people sleeping out in the city centre these days; it’s not right – what can I do to help?”

This is an increasingly common question. You only need to take the briefest of walks along Argyle Street or Sauchiehall Street to see signs of rough sleeping.

In this spring issue of Connect, we explore what is happening to tackle street homelessness and suggest ways in which you can make a difference.

We also explore homelessness through Tony and Aria’s amazing stories – both made homeless for very different reasons; both finding new homes and new hope in Glasgow.

And read about how a new cookery project in Govan is empowering parents and strengthening families. We believe investing in families can hep preven homelessness later in life.
