Summer Connect: Letting the light in

Front cover of ConnectSummer has finally arrived! After months of rain, snow and freezing conditions, warmth and sunshine are here!

This issue of Connect explores how our supporters are lighting up the lives of those who Glasgow City Mission works with every day.

Read how Alison, an overwhelmed parent at our Child & Family Centre, has transitioned from floundering to flourishing thanks to the intervention of our team.

Discover how Zander, a man who has spent years sleeping on the unforgiving streets of Glasgow, has overcome a catalogue of horrendous experiences and is now enjoying his new Housing First home thanks to our new accommodation project.

And see how life in all its fullness is being discovered during The Gathering, our new space for exploring the transforming love of Jesus.

    Kiltwalk 2020

You may have heard that the Glasgow Kiltwalk on 26 April has been postponed. At this time we have no idea when the walk will be held but the organisers have confirmed that it will take place as soon as they are able to rearrange it. So please look out for this news in the coming months and, if you’re able, join our Glasgow City Mission team on the day or feel free to sponsor one of our walkers. Every penny raised plus an amazing 50 per cent top-up will come to us!
