Winter Connect: Building relationship

Connect Front CoverWe've titled this edition of Connect Building relationship - which is a theme that runs throughout all we do here at Glasgow City Mission.

Read about a Bible study group we’re running in partnership with Connect to Community and St George’s Tron Church of Scotland. It is proving a lifeline for men who have been in the prison system.

Meet James, our new Dads Worker at our Child and Family Centre. And learn about the impact of enabling our staff and volunteers to develop and build relationships in a more structured way at the evening Drop-in.

We start the magazine with a reflection from Charles Maasz, our new Chief Executive, who says, "My walk of faith has brought me to a place of ministry which is so close to my heart that when I pause to consider it, I am blown away."

Read the magazine (pdf).
