City Centre
Pray for our new women’s work as we collaborate with two Glasgow churches to support women who are not able to come to our building in Crimea Street.
Give thanks that our guest Majid now has his British Citizenship certificate after over 20 years living in the UK. A cause for celebration!
Pray for Morag who started last week as our new administrator. Pray also for Kate who is leaving the role and moving to Devon. Both are well-loved and valued colleagues.
- Pray for our guests who come to our twice-daily Drop-ins for advocacy, lunch and dinner. Pray they find community, understanding and solutions to the issues they are facing.
Child and Family Centre
Please pray for the extended garden area in Elder Park. Pray that it will be free from vandalism and that it will be well utilised by our nursery, family holiday clubs and other Child and Family Centre clubs.
Pray for our schools’ work that is growing in Govan. Pray we continue to build on the positive partnerships we are developing with the schools.
With all the bugs and viruses going around, please pray for good health for our staff so that we are able to continue to deliver all our services.
- Please pray for the Family Holiday Club that we will be running at Easter. Pray that we will have lots of fun and reach the community with the real Easter message.
Overnight Welcome Centre (OWC)
Give thanks for the various types of accommodation that have been provided for guests over the past month.
Pray for our guests that are struggling with mental health issues. This has been on the increase.
Pray for our team as we move into the final month of the OWC. Pray for energy and patience as we continue to serve our guests.
Pray that as the OWC season closes at the end of March there are positive solutions for all our guests.
