City Centre Project
Please pray for our two new interns, Ashleigh and Lee. They have just started and will now be working, studying and volunteering with us for the next nine months.
We have changed our Drop-in times and the set-up of tables to accommodate more people. We are encouraging staff and volunteers to sit and eat with our guests as we did pre-Covid. Pray for great conversations and closer relationships.
Pray that two of our long-term guests do not slip back into bad habits. Pray for peace for them and positive futures.
Please pray for wisdom and compassion for our staff as they deal with guests who are asylum seekers, especially when they have to convey bad news.
Child and Family Centre, Govan
We are seeking to appoint a part-time Project Worker. Pray that we get good quality applications and a good fit for our team.
Pray for our after school clubs as the children develop relationships with each other and our staff.
Give thanks that our hard work in clearing, maintaining and using our garden area in Elder Park has resulted in an extension to the official Permission To Use from Glasgow City Council.
Overnight Welcome Centre
We are advertising for people to staff our team this year. Pray that the Holy Spirit guides the right people to the team.
Pray for our positive relationship with the Glasgow HSCP. We are in the planning stages of the project and are hopeful that we will be back in a city centre hotel in partnership with the HSCP.
Pray for favour with partnership organisations as we begin meeting with them again. We want to build on the relationships we have developed over the past few years.
Thank you for supporting us in prayer.
